Dear backers,
Thank you for your patience, we are finally going full speed towards fulfillment! 🥳
We previously sent everybody messages with personalized shipping payment links via email and kickstarter, we hope that everyone received it. If otherwise, please reach out to us at [email protected] and we will gladly assist you.
In regards to fulfillment, our first shipment batch is stipulated to reach our Fulfillrite warehouse on 5th of June. From there, we will proceed with the first round of shipping for those who have made their payment before 26th May! Regarding couriers, we will be shipping via USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Asendia.

Update: Payment Method

Dear backers,
Thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience caused by the issue with our payment method. We managed to resolve the issue and will be sending personalized links with the shipping amount calculated from BackerKit. Currently all payments on BackerKit before 17 February were processed for refunds back to your cards and they should be reflected by now, latest by mid/end April. Please double check your bank statements and let us know by then if you did not receive a refund so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
Please take note as the shipping fees were refunded, we would need to collect payment again through personalized links that will be sent to every backer that has completed their survey on BackerKit! We will be reaching out to everybody individually within the next two weeks through your emails provided on Kickstarter, and thereafter process the shipping payment. Once that’s done, we will be able to start fulfillment! Please make sure that your email address on Kickstarter is correct, and please also reach out to us via Kickstarter or email ([email protected]) if you did not receive our email by 17th of April.
We’re really sorry for the inconvenience and we appreciate the patience that you’ve shown for our products ❤️
In the meantime, here’s some product updates!
Our production team is currently working on the finishing touches of the Pod, including spray painting our Signature White onto the body of the flask. We’re also finalizing our packaging boxes, making sure the dimensions are a perfect fit for our Pods. Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly and we’re excited for fulfillment!

Production Updates

Hello backers,
We’re updating to share more information about our production timeline. We’ve received responses that we have to update more often and we hear you! We faced a bit of difficulty navigating through this Covid-ridden period as many of our production crew members ended up quarantined and our factories being shut down due to that. We’re sorry that we didn’t update often as it was a roller coaster ride of an experience but we’ll promise to bring you every step of the way from now onwards, you can count on us for that!
Currently we’re facing a spike in Covid cases within our factory in Shanghai and more than half of our production crew members are to be quarantined. The factory will also be temporarily closed for thorough disinfecting and cleansing for the safety of everybody. We’ll be taking this chance to close through January to allow for Chinese New Year celebrations, for everybody to reunite with their family and to motivate them through this difficult time ❤️
On the bright side, we managed to finish producing the molds for the Pods in time! We spent a lot of time reiterating the curvatures to achieve a better seamless finish(bye bumps!) and at last, we managed to produce a version that we are satisfied with before the factories shut down. This means that we’ll go full speed ahead when everything’s back to normal!
We estimate that the earliest completion date would be in Mid March and we’ll be able to send our products to our US fulfillment center by Mid April, where our products will be packed and ready for dispatch. With this timeline, our sorting team estimates that everybody would be able to receive their omi products by Early May! These dates are still an estimate and we’ll do our best to expedite as much as we can so that everybody will get their Pods asap 💌
Also, BackerKit surveys have closed, thank you everyone for your input! For those of you who have not completed the survey, please do so asap so that we can get your color preferences and shipping details, thank you. BackerKit Surveys now available!

Once again, thank you for backing us and placing your faith in the Pod!
And because many backers have asked us, we’ll be moving to Indiegogo, giving a chance to the people who didn’t manage to get it during the Kickstarter campaign.
We faced quite a few technical difficulties through this campaign, but they are now resolved and we have finally completed the BackerKit survey setup. Thank you for your patience, we’re glad to be announcing that BackerKit Surveys are out and sent to your inbox!
Check out your email for a personalized survey link invitation from BackerKit with the following Subject line: "Response Needed — Get your reward for The Pod—Your on-the-go meal packing companion" They were sent directly to the email address that has been linked to your Kickstarter account. Be sure to check your spam folder just in case 📮
The survey is where you will be able to choose your color, browse add-ons and share with us your shipping address.
The Survey Deadline
It’s important to respond to your survey ASAP since we need this information to fulfill your rewards. We’ll lock the surveys on 31st December 2022, but we would really appreciate it if you could finalize it soon so we can plan accordingly!
Survey Process:
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link, to respond by following all steps.
Once you have completed your survey, you can change your shipping address at any time before we close the survey.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log into your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey will be emailed to your Facebook email address.
I Have Not Received The Survey Email. What Should I Do?
The survey link was sent to the email address you registered on Kickstarter with. Be sure to check your spam folder just in case! If you are unsure which email it is, go to Kickstarter and check under the "Settings" menu.
If you still cannot find the email, please don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected]
Can I get add-ons with my order?
Once you are through with the survey, you will be redirected to the Add-On screen to add items to your reward.
Simply select the one that you intend to get and click on the "Add to Cart" button. You can select multiple items too, by increasing the total item count.
Can I change my shipping address before the survey closes?
Yes, you can change the shipping address before we lock the surveys up!
